Jessica Baird is a commercial Insurance Professional who has been in the industry since 1998. She works with businesses across all industries. She is active in the community and is known for her commitment to service and for educating organizations on how to combat insurance fraud.

Working Together to Combat Workers' Compensation Fraud

Workers’ compensation fraud is costly, but it is also preventable. In this session, HR professionals will learn how to spot the red flags of a suspicious claim, understand emerging risks tied to remote work and telehealth, and build simple, effective safeguards such as return-to-work programs, employee education, and clear accident-response procedures. You’ll also discover the investigative tools and technology available through your claims carrier and gain a step-by-step approach for responding when a claim raises concerns. Whether you manage claims every week or only occasionally, you’ll come away better prepared to protect your organization and your employees.
