Leading From The Heart

How do you lead? Are you an authoritarian? Are you a pushover? Somewhere in-between? Here’s another question, are you an effective leader?  Leading From the Heart is a style of management that produces both effective teams and strong relationships. You’re invited to come explore this very powerful style of leadership.

Our January presenter is Mike Patten. Mike is an HR Consultant for the PEO, BBSI, providing support to various businesses throughout the area.  With an abundance of factory work experience he moved into HR in 1998 and has worked at 3 food production facilities, a metal fabrication facility, and today as an industry consultant. This varied experience has helped shape his perspective on effective HR.  He is a national member of SHRM and holds senior level certification from SHRM.  Mike has a Bachelor of Business Administration, with an emphasis in Human Resources from ISU, and an entire career of experience helping employees develop to their potential and creating company cultures of accountability.
