The Mission Statement of SEI SHRM reads: As the premier HR organization in Southeast Idaho, we are committed to advancing the capabilities of our HR professionals. We provide value to our members by offering developmental opportunities and a common forum to network, share ideas, and experiences that promote the learning process.

Members receive a significant discount on our lunches and conferences, access to the "members only" section, and a few other perks like our December give back. The Southeast Idaho Chapter of SHRM has many volunteer opportunities. If you are interested, you can volunteer to serve on the Board of Directors for SEI SHRM by dropping us a note and letting us know. If you aren’t a member of SEI SHRM, you can join here.

    Unlocking the Potential of the Veteran

    and Military Spouse Workforce

    In November we celebrated our Veterans with a presentation on hiring Veteran and Military Spouses.

    Our November presenter is Stephanie Cecil, SHRM-SCP.  Stephanie was born and raised in Idaho Falls, ID. She joined the army after graduating from Idaho Falls High School and served for 5.5 years as a truck mechanic and then in HR.  She received her BS in Business Administration with a minor in Human Resource Management from the University of Maryland and her MA in Public Administration from the University of Texas at El Paso. She has worked for both public, private and nonprofit organizations. She has over 15 years of HR experience and is the Director of Human Resources for CRI Advantage, Inc. Currently she is serving as past president for the Southeast Idaho Chapter of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and as the Director-Elect for the Idaho State Council of SHRM. Stephanie also volunteers as a USAA/SHRM Foundation Veteran Ambassador.
