Human Resource Recruiter

Primary Function:
Responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment efforts while also supporting key human resource functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  • Manage full cycle recruiting to include job postings, sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews.
  • Participate in recruiting events at schools, fairs, and conferences.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and craft job descriptions.
  • Develop and track goals for the recruiting and hiring process.
  • Support Human Resource Department with other HR related activates as needed.

Promote and actively embrace the concept of a collaborative environment, with an emphasis on customer service, respect, and candor.  Safety is a cultural value, and it must be promoted and enforced at all times.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
Associates degree or higher from a qualified institution; OR two years related experience and/or training in HR, Recruiting, Sales, etc.

  • Experience with HR, recruiting, and/or sales a plus.  Occasional local travel will be required.
  • Basic knowledge of principles and practices of human resources is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
  • Ability to navigate recruiting websites and social media platforms.
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, and with good communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization with various personality types.
  • Must have ability to understand and carry out written or oral instructions.
  • Must display a high degree of judgment, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information in a discreet manner.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit in a stationary position for extended periods of time while working at a computer. The employee is frequently required to walk and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet – typical of what is generally found in an office setting. The employee will occasionally find it necessary to enter a manufacturing environment. The manufacturing environment is typical of that type of setting – employees may be exposed to inclement weather, loud noises, tripping hazards; and there may be exposure to sparks, welding arc, open flame, and moving equipment.
