November is National Veterans and Military Families Month. On Veterans Day, November 11 and throughout the month of November, we celebrate those who have honored our country with their service and sacrifice. Our courageous men and women in uniform have earned our enduring respect and gratitude.
The Idaho Department of Labor will be our guests for our last scheduled lunch meeting of 2020. This month's webinar will cover:

Bret Plocher – Local Veteran Employment Representative
Bret Plocher has been working with the Idaho Department of Labor since early this year. He is a Local Veteran Employment Representative for South East Idaho. Bret has been in the Army National guard the 1-194 Brigade Special Troops Battalion, since 2005. Bret also has a deployment overseas to Iraq in 2011. Bret also is a current ISU student taking Civil Engineering with an emphasis in transportation.
Terry Gammel – Local Veteran Employment Representative
Terry Gammel, is another Local Veteran Employment Representative for the Idaho Department of Labor. He helps assist with opening the lines of communication between veterans, and businesses to make lasting employment connections. With over 28 years in public service, Terry has experience in management, team building, professional development, strategic implementation, and company collaboration. Terry was also in the U.S. Army
Michelle Stout, Apprenticeship Coordinator
As an experienced Apprenticeship Coordinator at the Idaho Department of Labor, her focus is on Registered Apprenticeship as a workforce solution that provides business and individuals with positive returns on investment. She assists as a liaison in navigating the process of establishing Registered Apprenticeship Sponsorships with the United States Department of Labor and provides technical assistance in all areas associated with Sponsorship. The industry and the workforce is changing in incredible ways. Apprenticeship is an excellent answer to the challenges these changes bring.
