for Key Insights to Hiring Cyber Talent

Ralph Ley, Director at the Workforce Development Program Office at Idaho National laboratory will present.  His office directly supports the Nation’s goals to develop a more efficient cyber workforce pipeline. By orchestrating existing lab, government, private sector, and academic resources, the Program Office has developed unique processes that allow organizations to understand their existing cyber workforce’s maturity levels and provides a roadmap for improvement to achieve their desired level of cyber risk.

In the past, he has worked for the Department of Homeland Security, in the private sector as a program manager for critical manufacturing companies, and he retired from the Air Force after 22 years of service.

You will leave this presentation with these great insights:

  1. Reasons why the majority of HR offices struggle with hiring and supporting cyber job positions in their organization – you are not alone.
  2. What are typical solutions used to hire the right cyber-talent that actually fail?
  3. Why is finding the most qualified person to fill a cyber-position so challenging?
  4. How to write a cyber job posting that a cyber person can actually understand.
  5. What should your C-suite understand about cyber to assist your efforts?
  6. Resources to assist HR efforts in hiring and keeping cyber-talent.
